One more thing for Opera to fix. I do wonder how many people are actually working on the browser for Windows. There seems to be a lot of things that don't work. Basic things.

You'll see that the question was answered by leocg. Ideally, as I could do with Firefox, when I click on "Open in new tab", it does just that, but it stays inn the background. I would like to go straight to that tab without an extra click, but it's not the end of the world if I can't in Opera.

Thanks,

Either you open a tab directly where it will open or you open it in the background where it should be ready opened for you later. Though lately I've noticed Chrome browsers offering a very useless blank page for a few seconds when I go to a tab I loaded in the background a few minutes ago. I'd love to fix that problem. Not too much point in loading a tab in the background if it doesn't even load. I am using a slow computer and wonder if its not loading to prevent less of a load to the computer hardware. 2gb of DDR2 ram doesn't go far these days!
