Uncompressed image for custom wallpapers?

Hello. I'm trying to use a darker custom wallpaper for my new tabs but Opera keeps compressing the png even though it's only 130kb to begin. I'd really like to use an uncompressed image. Opening it in it's own tab loads perfectly. I've tried replacing the image in the zipped theme file with the original quality but it still shows artifacts somehow.
It's a minor issuebut any help would be much appreciated!
