<![CDATA[Opera 22 removing the bookmark bar]]>So I was just updated to Opera 22 and now I see that "bookmark bar" showing prominently with an in your face message alerting everyone 'for quick access, add your bookmarks here". Is there a way to get rid of this thing? What happened to the days when browsers were made to be sleek, organized an appealing?

Why anyone would want to load down their browser with nasty looking bookmark folders id beyond me. I think most would want a bookmark section that is hidden, so as not to take away from the look of the browser, no?

You'll get an option to enable it. Simply untick it and it's done.

You see the bookmarks, if you click on the extension icon. Then just bring back the bookmarks bar across the top of your browser with an Alt P,, and put a check in show the bar if you need it. Then go Alt P, take the check out when you want to hide it again for a more minimalist display of your browser.

And btw, it doesn't comes enabled by default.
