The close tab button (the X on the active tab) is very easy to click by accident when you have a lot of tabs open. It's also totally redundant, since you can close a tab by middle clicking on it. I get that not everyone knows this, so just please add the option to disable the close button and let the users decide if they need it.

You can also swap tabs with Ctrl+1-9 hold Ctrl and press the number of the tab you need and it will swap to it without you needing to click.
