I recently downloaded opera mini on my mac book air and I am unable to use sidebar web apps like WhatsApp web, Telegram web, 😕 Which are perfectly working on other browsers like Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.

Please how can I solve this issue on Opera mini browser.

When I chat with Nokia some years ago, they clarified for some browsers or bank web page to function in KaiOS, its OS first needs to be upgraded. It is hoped the KaiOS-Mozilla partnership in 2020 will make that a reality even for it to be Firefox compatible and Opera maybe aware of this. If and when that upgrade happens whether Opera wants to invest in a KaiOS compatible version is a million dollar question

For now, it is only for androids. I really think Opera Software should invest in KaiOS. They should launch Opera Mini for it. It has more than 100 million devices today.

Whatspp has officialy launched its version to KaiOS. If you decide to not launch a lite browser to KaiOS in the next months (like Opera Mini), others browser will do it (like UC Browser Mini, CM browser and many others).
