Highlights of fixes and improvements:
- More dark themed pop-ups implemented.
- DNA-73593 Add HTTPS and WebSocket support to Freedom with network service.
- DNA-75348 No option to hide/unhide extension on extensions page.
- DNA-75618 Unable to Allow access to search page results on extensions page.
- DNA-75745 No confirmation dialog for untrusted extensions.
- DNA-76048 Extensions cant be updated.
- DNA-76250 Blacklisted extensions are not marked.
- DNA-76435 [Win] Support system dark mode in Windows 10.
- DNA-76539 If no action type is set in manifest, then Page Action should be used.
- DNA-76645 [Mac 10.14] Closing background windows closes all windows.

Known issues:
- Broken animation, when resizing an unpinned integrated messenger window.
- Color issues near the Opera menu button in the browser window.
 
The Chromium has been updated to version 74.0.3717.0.

1. Launch the Opera with the switch: Path\to\launcher.exe --disable-gpu, go to opera:about, and copy the installation path, close the Opera,
2. Open your file explorer, navigate to that path, and rename 3dcompiler_47.dll file to e.g. d3dcompiler_47.dll-old,
3. If you have previous version of the Opera, try to copy the d3dcompiler_47.dll from there to the above mentioned installation path, if not, you can download the installer file for Opera beta, install it, and copy the file from there.

Alternatively, if you prefer only to workaround of the issue, and wait until it most probably will be fixed in one of upcoming updates, then launch the Opera with the switch as mentioned above, go to Settings > Browser > System, and disable the "Use hardware acceleration when available", close the Opera without restarting it, remove the switch, launch the Opera, and check if this fixes the problem.

after the latest update there is a bug where opera opens properly however a black screen appears like there is a problem with the gpu. If i let my mouse over my bookmarks or my tabs it shows the name of the bookmark but i cannot see the bookmark itself.
In the beginnning, reinstalling the application fixed the bug but for the past 3 days it is permanently black. Not even this update fixed it.

If the sidebar is disabled, when you hover the mouse over the "Menu" icon, it glows black - if the light theme is on.
 If a dark theme is turned on, when you hover your mouse over the "Menu" icon, it glows white.

There's no build for macOS this time.
 
"We’ve taken under consideration, that many of our users have big, full HD screens. For those users, our new Speed Dial tiles were not properly scaled, and the margins seemed too big.

Therefore, we’ve implemented a switch in the Easy setup panel, which lets you choose whether you want to have small tiles on the Speed Dial page, or if you prefer them to be bigger."

"We made a fix to prevent crashes, that might happen when enabling Bookmarks Bar. Another bug, which was not so easy to recreate, was occurring when exiting Opera. This is also fixed.

This is also an opportunity to check out the latest change we’ve made to the sidebar. You’ll see, that the toggle button to pin and unpin the sidebar was replaced by the Easy Setup menu button. This is to help you prevent from accidentally unpinning the sidebar.

You can pin and unpin the sidebar by clicking on "Show sidebar" in the Easy Setup menu."
