I've used Opera Mail for ages and love it but it does have its drawbacks, plus its no longer being supported. I was wondering what most of you use that have come to the same conclusion. I use several email accounts with different notification/retrieval settings and absolutely need reliable audio notifications.

I think it only allows 1 account! If you only have 1 account you might as well use webmail. What about older Outlook? What are the downsides to that? Like from 2003. I've got a copy. But I wonder about security when using older email programs. Of course Opera Mail has been dead for years.

Although it lacks features, but i love it than the bird. I use emClient now. I hope opera reactivates Opera Mail again and tries to focus more on it’s development.
