<![CDATA[Passwords not saved]]>HI,
I wanted to change from Chrome to Opera and I like most of the features. But no matter what I try I cannot get Opera to save my entered Passwords.
Some advice?

I think I am giving up. I tried Firefox and the saving of the credentials works fine. I will try Firefox.

In Opera, goto the URL chrome://flags/#enable-autofill-ignore-autocomplete-off and set the flag to "Enabled". Then, try again.

What sites have you tested with? I assume you logged in on here and Opera never asked you to save?

Other things to try (in that standalone installation for now) would be to goto the URL opera://settings/system, disable hardware acceleration, restart Opera and then try again.

What security software do you have installed? Do you ahve Bitdefender and or Sandboxie? Have yo utried temporarily disabling anti-virus and such?

Don't enable Opera Sync in this test Opera.

Does saving of passwords at least work fine there?
