I have a question about synchronization security in Opera.

Is it possible to configure two-step authentication for synchronization?

As I understand it, this can not be done. Is it safe to save passwords in Opera account, without two-factor authentication?

For example, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft must ask for confirmation (via E-mail, SMS, etc.).

Yes, passwords are securely stored on Opera servers. I do not doubt it.

But if anyone gets access to my Opera account. He can easily get my passwords too.

That is, the Opera account itself is not secure enough? If there was an authentication via SMS or Email, it would be more secure.

Synced passwords are stored encrypted using your Opera credentials. You can choose to have all your synced data encrypted with a pass-phrase.
