On restart the browser comes up pretty quickly and has the same version (no wonder). Then it starts downloading the same update again!</p>
<p dir="auto">I reported the problem to opera couple of months back but it just keeps going on and on. The only way I can update Opera is to run the installer again</p>
<p dir="auto">Update log shows some issue with locales which causes the updater to Crash. I am baffled why there is a contention because my locale on Win10 is EN and same is with Opera</p>

I too have been having this issue for the past few versions.<br />
Having to download the installer is not only an annoyance, it also defeats the purpose of having an updater in the browser.</p>
<p dir="auto">Please fix this.</p>
