[Solved]Opera stops responding after launching

Shortly after launching Opera it will stop responding and I have to force close it. I have been using this instance of Opera for around a year (couple of updates since then). I did update Windows 10 to rel 1809 yesterday. It hangs on uninstall, hangs on re-install options. I managed to install the portable app version and it does the same thing. Any help appreciated.

After uninstalling the portable apps Opera, which completed successfully and did not hang up, and reinstalled desktop Opera, the install did not hang up as previous, and launches correctly now.
