This just started a few days ago. First I tried a re-install. That didn't work, so I un-installed and re-installed again. Still no change. It opens to my home page, but then gets stuck there and will not proceed. When I click on anything, the little blue circle just spins and spins. Then Windows tell me that the program is not responding and I close it.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

After trying for 2 days, it suddenly has started working again. And I do wonder if you are right about Sync being the problem. I set up sync on my phone and tablet recently. I went to my phone after reading your suggestion. It was not signed in to Sync, so I signed in. Now Opera is working on my laptop again. I don't know if that was the problem or not, but I'm glad to be able to use Opera again. Thank you for your reply. Appreciate it. (I think I do have Developer, Version:58.0.3135.53.)

Sounds very like a problem I have on Developer which is related to Sync - I had to disable Sync to stop Opera from freezing.
