<![CDATA[Opera link - old password restored?]]>I recently noticed that all my browsers on different computers were unable to connect to Opera link saying that my password is wrong. I had changed to a stronger password some time ago, but I tried logging to link.opera.com with my old password and to my surprise it worked!

I then changed my account password again to the new password, and suddenly all the opera browsers were able to sync.

So what has happened? How and why was my old password restored? I have tried the latest version some time ago. Could that be the trigger?

We were switching to a more secure way of storing user passwords recently. The process took some time and might have had some side-effects.
After you changed your password again the problem should not happen again, but please, let us know if the problem recurs.
