opening pdf files outside Opera

  • I am using Opera 57 for Windows on Win10 64-bit and I want to open pdfs in Acrobat Reader / Adobe Acrobat.

I do not have issues opening pdf within Opera previewer; I want to turn this feature off.

In "Options" -> "Privacy and Security" -> "Content management" -> "PDF documents" I have found only one checkbox "Download PDF files and do not open them in Opera automatically". This toggle disables opening pdf files at all.

Is there other way to open pdf files outside Opera than "Open in folder" and opening them manually?

  • Not possible as far as I know. Maybe using an extension.

  • @leocg Thanks for the answer although it is not the answer I wanted to read.
