The older version is Opera Stable 54.0.2952.51 and the newer version is Opera Stable 57.0.3098.106. Can I safely uninstall the older version using Revo Uninstaller without affecting the newer version? Revo will also remove any leftover files as well is another reason I am asking. Thanks

I have not uninstalled the older version as I could not get a definitive answer as to how it would affect the newer version.

I don't see that it is worth the risk of losing all of my bookmarks, Speed Dials and settings as well as the add-ons I have.

Yes, it looks like a separate installation of Opera, just a different build number. Maybe I will do a simple uninstall instead of using Revo Uninstaller. That way it won't remove any connected registry files.

If you are referring to the folders with the old builds numbers in Opera's installation folder, then you can delete them.

Seems that if there was an update to Opera, that it would uninstall the old version so that there would not be any conflict possibilities with the new version. Or maybe it is left there in case that the newer version was a bust then the user could revert back to the older version. Thanks.
