<![CDATA[spell check dictionary download failed]]>Hi all,

I've scoured the forums and saw some old threads regarding this same issue and no one has ever posted a solution. Has anyone figured out how to actually download these dictionaries besides those who restarted the browser/pc 50 times until it worked magically? I have been using Opera for several months now and of course I've gone through several reset cycles. It doesn't work on my personal pcs or my work pc.

I wish I could just upload a local dictionary somehow.

Still no spell check, and I wrote in Spanish "en este mundo triador de problemas nadie escapa..." "in this treacherous world, no one escapes problems" none of which should have escaped the default dictionary.

I am really "annoyed off" at this situation!

I cannotg tell my verfsion, because I just looked for it for several minutes, and could not find anything in the "about" tab

Clicking on O > Help > About Opera should produce a simple display screen showing the version number in large-font symbols, as well as a smaller-font update status text, followed by the channel name (eg: Stable) and the OS system (eg: Windows 10 64-bit (WoW64)).

I am thinking of switching to another browser for that reason. Since I am a lousy tyoist, I often make misteaks and I need the spell check to make me look intelligent (and handsome) Sometimes spell check works, mostly, it doesn't. After an hour of fiddling around around settings, I could not find anything, and I am rather annoyed
