It's usually installed as part of a "bundle" with other downloaded software (including browser extensions) or as a fake instance of some other "legitimate-named" software, and thereafter 'lives' in your system at several levels. Removal generally involves multiple steps: removing the Webget program by ordinary uninstallation; removing several WebGet adjunct programs from your browser(s) using a tool like AdwCleaner; removing the virus component using a tool like Hitman Pro; and (if the Webget came in with some extension you imported), removing that extension. The most comprehensive reference for removal seems to be: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/webget-virus-removal/

Tips of note were, download AdwCleaner, and obviously run it.

Or you could also try malwarebytes and see if that gets rid of webget. It may even find other malware that may have found it's way on to your computer.

As I understang, the problem is in the program webget which had been installed out of my wish. However this program obviously is very resistent because it cannot be removed from Control Pannel: the process is stoping on the half way and... nothing more. I tried in Safe Mode - the same result. According to some advices I installed the program revounstaller but webget does not appear in the list that the program exposes! What to do?
