I thought, maybe, some extension to it but this behavior also exists on incognito mode.</p>

What you select is automatically copied to the clipboard (on a different clipboard than the one used for ctrl+c/ctrl+v) and can be pasted by middle clicking.</p>

One exception I know of is an option in KDE's Klipper clipboard manager that automatically merges this with the real desktop clipboard (so that conversely you can use the clipboard text in apps that don't support the real clipboard).</p>
<p dir="auto">So ... you wouldn't have this option enabled in Klipper, would you?</p>
