No Automatic Update to "88" Yet ?

I have Opera on a few computers and they are still on version 56.0.3051.52. If I click on check for updates as I did about 5 minutes ago it says Opera is up to date.,though this is not so.
Version 56.0.3051.88 has been available via Filehippo for a couple of days and it is what is offerred if you download the offline package via Opera. As I tried several times to Update via the Opera interface I don't think its a problem my end. I live in the UK. Should Opera be updating itself to "88" ? -

@leocg then why is it that the official download from Opera's own website is for 3051.88 if it isn't the Official Version also if it's not then how'd a bunch of sites around the web get a hold of it

Do you see an autoupdate file there? There isn't one. Therefore you can't autoupdate to that version. Could be they were fixing an issue in the installer itself and there's no need to update anything that was successfully updated. There being no blog post for that version, we don't know.

At least here the Opera site tries to give me 3051.52.
Those other non-official download sites just keep tracking Opera's FTP, download anything new they find and put it available to their public, not caring that much if they should do it or not.
It gave me 3051.88 (from the download button on Opera's own website so who's right and who's not
