You might take a look at the Opera extension, History Eraser.

On retrieving closed bookmarks from trash, Opera 21 in its Menu has Recently Closed Tabs (where you can retrieve some closed tabs, and there's: the Opera extension, Browse ++ (which gives you a waste basket icon for that purpose) and a nice Chrome extension I use called Sexy Undo Closed Tab.
