<![CDATA[Moving bookmarks from XP to Windows 8.1]]>Downloaded Opera on a new PC and despite following various instructions, I cannot import my many bookmarks onto my new PC. I've backup all the necessary files, created a new profile folder and pasted the old data in, but bookmarks, et al, are now being used.

I've not PC literate, so any replies please be simple!

Why haven't Opera made this process simple?

If Opera Blink (Opera 15 and newer) copy bookmarks* .* from the old profile folder to the new one.

On Opera Blink, don't forget to enable the bookmarks bar on settings.

If you had Opera Presto and now have Opera Blink, you'll have to reinstall Opera Presto again to be able to import your bookmarks.
