removed by Google since HiDPI support got switched on by default in Chrome now.
Ouch... Opera has to be in sync with the Chromium project a little better to keep on the bleeding edge of engine updates.

However, Opera isn't just ready yet for switching it on by default. I guess it should happen soon though.

I was using that, and though the tabs could have been a bit smaller, it was working more or less fine on my surface.

I know how you feel. I do have a 13" QHD+ screen @ 200%.
Having seen how crystal clear everything could be (hidpi-flag in 20 if I recall correctly; it wasn't really usable since sizing was just way off what lead to it being disabled for now) makes waiting patiently even harder 😉

Not necessarily.
It depends on DPI percentage values as well. Opera is working on better support.
In Windows' default scaling of windows the UI gets scaled up, but is blurry.
Opera has integrated some scaling of their own. It's really crisp, but doesn't scale correctly yet. That's why it is switched of for 200% dpi.
As soon as it's ready Opera will have the most awesome interface and thus has a unique feature among browsers again. 🙂

This is encouraging to hear. I can't wait (well... I can wait and I have to wait but it excites me to hear this).

On a 12 inch monitor everything will look tiny, not just Opera, but everything you run on it, if you were on a tablet or something, youd need to use your fingers to Zoom it. are you saying Opera needs some sort of Zoom function ? Edit----> Ok that is a tablet, you should be able to Zoom it, I dont really see a problem with Opera on that.
