Opera connecting to IP address 173.194.70.* (1e100.net) and downloading something in the background

Hi,
First I'm not a native English speaker, so forgive me if my English is not that good.
Recently I noticed that Opera keep downloading something, even when I left nothing opened in my browser, only a blank page. I use a software to monitor bandwidth usage in my PC, that's how I noticed how Opera is downloading something (it uses around 60-70 KB/s of bandwidth). It keeps making connection to 173.194.70.* (DNS resolve to 1e100.net).
I know that IP address range belong to Google, but I didn't open anything, only a blank page. Does anyone know how to stop Opera from downloading in the background?
