When one updates Opera it does not automatically offer an option to create a Desktop Shortcut.
One has to use Explorer and manually create one.
With this latest version I have had to do this several times as the Shortcut keeps disappearing from my Desktop and I have to manually recreate it only a day or so later to find the Shortcut has once again disappeared.. Any ideas as to fixing this?
It would be best if during programme update the option to create a Desktop Option was shown,

The path to opera.exe changes with every update. Or, do as @sgunhouse said and download and run the installer to install over your existing install and choose the option for the desktop icon this time.
