I also have the same issue and I think it's linked to Gmail Sidebar add-in (it's working fine in private mode)

It seems that the extension is not available anymore to download.

Does someone knows an extension to allow browsing gmail messages without creating issues with cookies?

For people having same issue, clear your cache, don't try to start that extension and go to gmail. if it's working, remove the app.
