As such, the link itself is just text, but doesn't have "Go to web address" in its context menu - it has the various editing and spellcheck options instead.

If you right-click a link, you have "Copy link address" available in the context menu. That puts the link address into the clipboard, and from there you can paste it wherever you choose.

They evaluate all of them.

The link should be selected with the mouse, copied to the clipboard, then inserted into the new browser tab.
