I certainly cannot pronounce about what makes sense to Opera, financially speaking. But it seems to me that if they're getting any kind of "rent" payment for face-time from the Discover content providers, it can only reduce their revenue to expend the necessary effort to put the user-content-selection code in the browser, as well as protect such controls from hijacking or exploitation. Particularly at a time when we're assured repeatedly that the devs are up to their eyeballs in work, trying to code "new and exciting" features for the browsers...

I think it can be done with some preloaded, default content that is still user-changeable - like it is on desktop with Opera 12.

I think it can be done with some preloaded, default content that is still user-changeable - like it is on desktop with Opera 12.
