I'm trying to access a .com site but Opera insists on defaulting to it's .co.uk site which is useless for me as I'm not registered with that one. Is there a way to force it to the site I actually want without resetting all my location details? (cookies, cache, history etc.. have already been cleared more than once)
Thanks in advance.

Do you have your browser set to not restrict cookies in any way, as well as letting the site set local data? The site sets at least 23 different cookies of its own plus uses local storage. If you're allowing all cookies and permitting local storage, have you tried visiting the site after first clearing everything?
