Opera does not allow me to override certificates anymore and even when I install a certificate it does not accept it.</p>
<p dir="auto">Please implement a trust-me-I-know-what-I'm-doing flag (or similar) to allow people like me to just accept whatever is presented because we already know the source and can take appropriate actions ourselves.</p>
<p dir="auto">It is good to present warnings but to completely disallow access frustrates me.</p>
<p dir="auto">Current version is 53.0.2907.99 on Linux Mint 18.3</p>

I just want a proceed button on the certificate warning page to continue to the site. Let <em>me</em> make the decision, not the browser, Opera team or anybody else.</p>
<p dir="auto">I don't want to install certificates, I mentioned it in the original post because even installing a certificate wont get me beyond the restriction.</p>
