There are options currently that seem like they are supposed to do this already, but do not have the effect I'm describing.

When typing in websites that I've been to already, Opera will automatically fill in the longest URL for it, having to backspace through all that wastes a lot of time.

The ability to autocomplete top level domains based on modifier keys (ctrl/shift/ctrl+shift) like Firefox does would be awesome, as well. For example, type in "opera" and then ctrl-enter, and it fills http://www.opera.com for you (Opera already does this, it looks like). Shift-enter for .net and ctrl-shift-enter for .org. Or user-customizable shortcuts for this.

Would appreciate it! Great browser otherwise, of course.
