<![CDATA[Adding RSS feeds that are not in the catalogue to Personal News]]>Re: How can I add alternate News Sources to the Opera Personal News side tab?

I wonder if I am missing something. Is it possible to add your own rss feeds that are not listed in the catalogue? For instance, one feed I follow is that of Slashdot http://rss.slashdot.org/Slashdot/slashdotMain which works using the Smart RSS extension.

Upon looking further I found I needed a slightly different address for Slashdot, corresponding to the Atom 1.0 feed rather than the RSS 1.0 feed. It now works.
