Despite everything in Opera being set to English only (ui, preferred content, etc) when I try to use the default search engine for wikipedia, it ALWAYS goes to ja.wikipedia.org.
Apparently they removed the ability to change the default search engines, so it seems there is nothing I can do to fix this. It is quite annoying. If anyone can think of any way to get around this, I'd appreciate it.

It's not a reasonable solution.

I am using the second suggestion already, a custom search with a keyword. However I have been using the keyword for wikipedia in opera for years and it is quite difficult to change those old habits.
I'm not looking for ways to cope with the problem, I'm looking for ways to fix it.
Or in the very least, making sure someone is aware that it is currently broken.
