<p dir="auto">And then downloaded the bookmarks html file from the other browser - in my case it was from Chrome. Then I clicked Manage and Import in the extension (<a href="http://imgur.com/fa2JZUv" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">http://imgur.com/fa2JZUv</a>).</p>
<p dir="auto">Then under Import Bookmarks, click choose file and then upload the file you downloaded.</p>

Opera 12.x for Linux has options for importing directly from IE (mostly useless on Linux though), Firfox or Konqueror.</p>
