<![CDATA[Opera 52, Debian 9 and H.264]]>Hi everybody,
I have a problem with my Opera 52 on my Debian Stretch. Some youtube videos will not run.
Youtube tells me that my browser does not support H.264 and MSE & H.264.
I tried to download chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra but I cannot do it on Debian 9 because it needs libc6 27 which is not in "stable". I could download it from Sid repository but I don't want to mix packages just to watch some youtube videos.
Is there a normal solution for such problem?

https://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty-updates/chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra
But, if you upgrade opera to current version 53, try this one:
https://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial-updates/chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra
Some people just install the package and it works, but I have never done it that way.
I always add the subdirectory lib_extra to the main opera program directory, then extract the libffmpeg.so from the deb and place it there, with a script or manually.
Generally speaking, the Xenial repository of ubuntu is the more closely aligned with Stretch.
