This is to inform that Opera forums were upgraded to newest NodeBB version.
Some changes are described here (but the full changelog includes a lot of small fixes and changes):

https://blog.nodebb.org/nodebb/

https://blog.nodebb.org/whats-new-in-v1-9-0/

With this release we're restricting ability to set signature, website and bio information in your profiles. From now on to add them your reputation level must be at least 1 (one). This is aimed at combating ghost/spam accounts created just for the purpose of driving traffic to particular websites.

Please report any new issues/bugs/questions in this thread.

Thanks!

While I was afraid at first glance that a unique member name could be assigned more than once during the registration process, I do think now that it is just a representation error in the user list, because both shown member profiles are linked to the same address.

I mention that because I don't know which event could trigger the occurence of that display bug.

^ that's the first one to the right of the logo. Just double-checked and it does not have any specific options set that might be hiding it for anyone so everyone should be seeing it.

Sadly there's no way to show the button only to these that have custom landing page so I've enabled it for everyone.
<s>It looks like it keeps using the unread filter although I am not on the specific page anymore. The issue does not occur on a private window, so I guess there is an issue with session information.</s>

OK, I didn't remember that I had set the landing page to be Unread in my profile. But as a consequence, I had no link to go to categories. I set it back, but I think we may need a new icon in the top bar for categories..

I see the "GDPR Support" mentioned in the link it why we had to log back in and fill out the consent form.
