  • Close browser
  • Search for C:\Users<User_name>\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Local State file
  • Open with notepad
  • Search for country "location":{"country":"ua","country_from_server":"UA".. string
  • Change "ua" and "UA" to "us" and "US"
  • If it does not help, change to "en" and "EN"

If it's not a bug, then it's VERY strange behaviour or developers logic (or just money/sponsors). My default search engine is NOT Yandex, so why should they insist that I should use Yandex within instant search.

However, you can use the search engine keyword to search on it using instant search.
