I've just started using Opera a few hours ago and I think I really started liking it:)

I have a few questions though.

I use the linux version, if that matters. I enabled the 'turbo mode' to see how it works, actually just to play with it, because right now I do not have a slow connection actually. And... what now? How do I know it's working or not? With the 'vpn' enabled I can see an icon in the address bar, where I can enable/disable it. Besides I can see my public IP as seen by web sites is different.

And how do I see it with the 'turbo mode'?

I really loved the concept of images quality being lowered, even with fast connection, because in theory even then it theoretically can improve things, due to e.g. lower memory usage, faster processing by browser etc. But I just can't see it working?

Version information
Version:	52.0.2871.99 - Opera is up to date
Update stream:	Stable
If I remember correctly, it looks like a speedometer.

Turbo works only with non-secure pages, what makes its used kinda limited.

Unless you really have a very bad connection, Turbo will bring no benefit for you.
