I like the new search feature you implemented in 52.0.2871.97. However, on Linux, Alt+Space opens a program's Minimize/Maximize/Move.....Close context menu.</p>
<p dir="auto">Workaround: Ctrl+Space to open Tab search, then press Tab to switch to search engine search.</p>

Change the keyboard shortcut in the options menu:</p>
<ul>
<li>Click the O&gt;Settings&gt;Browser&gt;Shortcuts&gt;Configure Shortcuts.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">There are two search shortcuts already:</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Open and close instant search</strong>
<ul>
<li><em>alt+space</em></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Open and close search for open tabs</strong>
<ul>
<li><em>ctrl+space</em></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ol>
<p dir="auto">It is unfortunate that the two types of search can't be combined like in Vivaldi and other browsers</p>
