<p dir="auto">Windows 10 build 17120.rs4_release.180309-1616 (Insider, slow ring).</p>
<p dir="auto">Youtube will not play.  I am able to seek to specific frames and the video is buffering, but will not play.  I am also able to download videos using various extensions.</p>
<p dir="auto">I have tried all recommended and reasonable troubleshooting steps:</p>
<ul>
<li>disabling all extensions.</li>
<li>clearing cache, cookies, etc</li>
<li>Completely removing Opera, deleting the entire profile from Local/Roaming AppData folder, to install cleanly</li>
<li>tried to view video both with and without sync enabled</li>
<li>tried both in private and normal browsing mode</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">Regardless, nothing works.  Youtube does not play for me on this build.</p>
<p dir="auto">It does play on my workstation in current stable builds of Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Vivaldi.  All of these browsers work fine.</p>
<p dir="auto">Willing to post logs, just tell me how to capture them.</p>

<p dir="auto">Plus - this flag has to do with the HTML5 player - GO TO chrome://flags/#disable-accelerated-video-decode - and either enable OR disable it..</p>
<p dir="auto">uncheck opera's on Block Ads - Manage list *just to see if it is cause 'n n e troubles..</p>
<p dir="auto">opera settings - Basic - Block ads - Recommended list - uncheck all ad block 'n lists..</p>
<p dir="auto">And - Make sure JavaScript is turned on..</p>
<p dir="auto">Try with vpn on &amp; try with vpn off ...ummm Black screen sumtimes mean buffering due to internet speed if your internet speed is higher you not see this</p>
<p dir="auto">ya might wanna try Cloudflare's New DNS Service - it is faster than the one i was using.. web address is -<br />

Had to use Firefox or Edge as all their fixes in forums did not work. They need to create a fix and send it in an update or I will use Firefox. Get black screen with sound, have to download video and play back in Realtimes player to watch. Looks like Microsoft Update has blacked out Google to me.</p>

Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in Opera's settings? I believe it's enabled by default, and can cause problems on systems with some graphics drivers.<br />
