<![CDATA[Use -newprivatetab not -private for v52.0.2871.37]]>My browser was flashing 4 times then stopping, leaving 4 instances of opera.exe in the task list but no visible browser windows, using the old and probably depreciated -private flag. I changed to -newprivatetab and all is well.
