<p dir="auto">In Opera Developer, if you enable <code>opera://flags/#new-md-settings</code>, you can edit the bing searche's keyword and change it from "b" to "<a href="http://bing.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">bing.com</a>" for example. But, it'll get reset on startup. And, there's no guarantee that Opera won't block the editing of the keyword that way too.</p>
<p dir="auto">If you don't mind always doing a quoted search, you can type <code>"term"</code>  to work around it.</p>
<p dir="auto">I was going to say that you could enable the separate search field in the address bar (turn on "show advanced preferences" to see the setting), but "b spine" still triggers bing, lol.</p>
