I'm trying to set Opera Mail preference to display all messages in a thread by default, and cannot discover how to do it. The current setting hides all messages in a thread until I go through a cumbersome process of right clicking, scrolling & left clicking. I can't find a dialogue to change it. Any help would be appreciated.

Any "forward" gesture (gestureright, flipforward, or a navigation button on your mouse or keyboard) or Shift+Right Arrow while the message list has keyboard focus. That won't make it stay always expanded, but it is easier than clicking on every single thread.
