<![CDATA[Taskbar download animation stays lit after download completes]]>The taskbar animation for downloading files stays lit up in all taskbars in all open windows even after the download completes. If I create a new window to "clear" this animation, the taskbar updates the new Opera window with the color. It's very distracting. As a web developer, I download many files all day and I have to frequently close Opera completely to clear this color from appearing on every taskbar for every window.

Is there any way to clear this manually, or prevent it from staying active?

Once the download ends, the taskbar returns to its normal state.

You may need to find out what is making it still active after the download has ended.
