unfortunately I have been experiencing problems with Opera for Mac ever since I am using a new 2017 Macbook Pro. I'm running the newest versions of High Sierra and Opera.

The problems in detail:

• If I close a tab (either by pressing cmd+w or clicking the x), it takes 1-3 seconds until the tab is closed. I noticed that it is especially bad on Youtube tabs.
• Same thing with opening new tabs (either by pressing cmd+t or clicking the +), it takes 1-2 seconds until I get a new tab. Additionally, it quite often happens that the focus is not set to the address bar of the new tab.

Apart from that Opera is running fast. Also, I don't see any problems on the operating system side: CPU and memory usage are normal and I don't have many apps running.

Any tips on how to fix this would be appreciated.
