They worked perfectly until a couple of weeks ago when all of a sudden both messengers started lagging heavily. Typing is slow, if I click on something, it takes about 5 seconds for it to finally load/register. Is anyone else experiencing this and if so, is there a fix? I loved having them connected to my browser but it's more of a hassle than a help now.

Turns out the Amazon Honey extension was causing the lag. Disabled the extension....no issue....hope it helps others....was very frustrating.

Been having the same issue as this, but additionally: I've noticed stuttering in regular browsing and especially when watching YouTube. If you right click on the Sidebar and uncheck "Facebook Messenger" it seems to help with the stuttering, but that still begs the question as to why this happens.
