<![CDATA[internet is blocked]]>my opera 50.0.2762.58 (PGO) has suddenly being blocked. it says:
"Your Internet access is blocked
Firewall or antivirus software may have blocked the connection.

Try:
Checking the connection
Checking firewall and antivirus configurations
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
Check your internet connection.
Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems, or other network devices you may be using."

chrome, ie, ff are all working normally.

how can i find out what is blocking opera?

i found the problem: the windows firewall was set to block opera outbound. the latest rules were set to allow, but earlier block rules were apparently dominating.

Disable all extensions
-the only extension was lastpass. disable didn't help

Disable the ad-blocker
-ad-blocker wasn't on

Reset settings to default
Reset flags to default
-i couldn't find a way to do these

Create a clean profile folder/directory
-i did this, still same error

If the problem is with a web page, check if it works with other browsers.
-other browsers work fine

non of those steps revealed anything wrong, and the other browsers work fine.
