<![CDATA[Should I Enable Hardware Acceleration?]]>So far I have Hardware Acceleration disabled.
I am wondering whether it's a good idea or not to enable the Hardware Acceleration on my Opera as per the specs of my older system.

I have a Dell OptiPlex GX280 Small Form Factor Desktop with a Pentium 4 CPU 3.00Ghz. It has 2 Gig of RAM. It has Windows XP Professional SP3 (32-Bit).

Speccy says:
The Motherboard is -- Dell Inc. 0FG113

Graphics -- Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family (Dell)

Hard Drive -- 74GB Seagate ST380815AS (SATA)

I use Dial Up Internet.

Given all that, would I actually benefit from enabling Hardware Acceleration or would I probably be more likely to introduce problems by not leaving well enough alone?

The only way to find out is to try it and see!
