A couple have begun making their apperance in Opera Next, but others have had no mention.

One of those is the "Ask me before accepting cookies" option. This is before-the-fact cookie filtering and much time was spent in previous versions in making it useful and effective. (It is also an easy way to learn what tracking cookies are set and how many there are!) The equivalent in Chrome and therefore Opera Next is after-the-fact cookie filtering and is much less easy to use.

Please bring back the "Ask me before accepting cookies" option.

One short question folks, is there any way to delete "individual cookies for some site, rather than delete all cookies?"

You mean to delete the cookies for site A and/or the ones for site B? If so, just go to settings > Security and privacy > cookies > All Cookies and site data > search for the site you want.

In the past Opera 12, We can do this easily. Even modified the cookies itself

This is amply exemplified above by a comment asking why you couldn't just put a domain in the whitelist.

But having the browser ask at the point of setting is how people like me manage cookie domain whitelisting and blacklisting. It is so much more efficient.

What about blocking them and put opera.com in the whitelist? It doesn't work?

I can't remember to be honest.

But for a number of sites it definitely doesn't work because the login/authorization passes through a different, unknown domain name (ebay is like this). So even if you add the site to the whitelist, when you login you get sent right back to the login screen whenever you try and do anything.

This means you either have to have cookies turned on globally or jump through hoops to find the unknown domain and add it to the whitelist. With the "ask before accepting cookies" dialog I could enable cookies globally temporarily and it was really easy to add the hidden sites to the whitelist.

I absolutely need this. I had to turn on cookies globally just to add this comment, which is idiotic.

In 12, I have buttons at the top of the screen to turn cookies/scripting on/off and left them disabled by default. Then I could set site preferences individually for the sites I visit, or easily turn cookies/scripting on temporarily.

Setting exceptions is a nightmare in the new version. Please give me back the ask for cookies (with the remember for this site option) and visible buttons to turn cookies/scripting off and a way to easily set exceptions for the current site.
