I tried making a csv file, but it didn't work out, I think because Opera mail &amp; Win Live present the data in somewhat different categories dividing them into different csv columns</p>

It worked great-- a couple of minor touch-ups needed, but it got the bulk of the work done. I'm sure I'm not the first to post on this issue, but couldn't come up with search terms that brought it up. It would be nice if Opera Mail contacts had a few more categories (ex. both land line phone &amp; cell phone), but the other mail features make it worth a few such losses</p>

<p dir="auto">As in, you tried using the site mentioned <a href="http://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/m2tips/import_contacts_from_other" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">here</a>? The site should allow you to match values up to categories you want. But, if it doesn't, try importing into another mail client or gmail and exporting as csv. Then use the converter again.</p>
