I travel a lot, and therefore every couple of days Operate decides to use another search engine when searching from the address bar.

Last week it was google.nl and now it is google.co.uk and next week it probably wil be google.is

I find this bug very annoying and because my main focus is the US I would like Opera to use google.com when searching from the address bar.

About a year ago I looked into this, but found no workable solution

I know Opera has been updated a couple of times since then so I was wondering there was a bug fix, or a new feature that tackles this problem

All help wil be appreciated

Thank you very much

Marten

I found a bug workaround in thread https://forums.opera.com/topic/514/default-google-localization/7 which seems to do what you suggest. Will try it out tonight.

I never change my language, yet Opera changes the searchengine. I have no idea where to find the Pinned Topics you mention. I browsed around the forums but found nothing.
